CoPlanner combines the benefits of relational data storage (large data volumes, comprehensible data etc.) with the benefits of the analytic world (high speed, optional analyzing competences etc.). The relational data is constantly processed in an OLAP database that can be accessed at any time. The OLAP database includes not only CoPlanner cubes but also individual virtual cubes. It is also possible to gain access to external data at all times.

.NET represents the Microsoft technology network for the new millennium. .NET standardizes interfaces and allows the integration in optional, heterogenic systems. This way you can realize applications based on .NET in a faster, more efficient and thus more economic way. By using .NET, Microsoft will be able to set a standard for all its new products.


CoPlanner is a three-tier model.

The first tier forms the data storage on the MSSQL server where the data is saved and stored.

The second tier is the CoPlanner server where inputs, calculations and requests (filtered by the CoPlanner user administration) are processed.


The third tier, called the CoPlanner client, forms the interface to the CoPlanner user and collects and analyses data via Windows or the web. You are able to enter data in any desired number of clients at the same time: The server successively processes the data and stores the results in the database. Meanwhile, the data is saved in the memory to allow constant and quick access. You can enter individual data, distribute and aggregate data in the client. The integrated security concept ensures that only users with access permission are allowed to read and/or write data.

The CoPlanner model guarantees general data consistency. Actual, target and forecast data are kept homogenously in one model. All CoPlanner modules are integrated in the standard user interface thus ensuring data integration without interfaces to all modules such as planning, reporting, OLAP browser, consolidation of CoPlanner features and much more. By using particular analyzing tools you are able to trace all results back to the entered data record which contains information on users, the system, updates and so on. The integrated workflow component helps you to coordinate your planning processes following planning stages and recording progresses on cross releases. The data quality management enables you to regularly check the consistence of the models via investigation and mapping in particular reports or in the OLAP browser.
