Corporate performance management – the concept of the integrated corporate management in the BI environment – requires significant IT experience. The implementation of ETL processes and the construction of warehouse databases in medium- and large-sized companies are core activities our consulting team has been successfully dealing with for the last 15 years.
The implementation of CoPlanner varies from case to case leading to completely different projects due to different structures and requirements on the CoPlanner. To give you an idea of a realistic implementation schedule, we will show you an example of a standard implementation.
A CoPlanner standard implementation usually starts with a specification sheet, which already maps contents in the offer process. Workshops are often used to adjust the customer’s requirements – thus, in many cases a CoPlanner solution already exists. The detailed adjustment phase is used to define, not only the specific steps of implementation conducted by the CoPlanner teams, but also to create a schedule including tasks and responsibilities.
After defining the links via interfaces or supplying export files from the former system the next step is to create data imports. First the master data and structures are imported and assigned in the CoPlanner. Afterwards the transfer data is imported. When the creation of all import objects is finished the CoPlanner is installed at the company – of course only if the required hardware exists. In addition we offer training programmes to familiarise users with the CoPlanner right from the start.
Any further adjustments of the model that might be necessary will be realised by the CoPlanner team or in cooperation with it. Eventually there is a special training for the PowerUsers who will administrate the CoPlanner. The delivery of the CoPlanner and the start of the live operation finalize the implementation process.
