Web-based dashboards
The new web-based CoPlanner dashboard combines well-known CoPlanner elements with new developments, for example, input masks can be combined with images or diagrams. The elements communicate with each other by means of filter and linking logic, so the data shown can be influenced not only by filters but also by interaction with elements. The high flexibility thus creates completely new possibilities to analyze and interact with your data. Speaking of interacting: Writing values is possible within the dashboard - so it can be used not only as a "normal" dashboard, but also for flexible mask displays.
Challenge
A particular challenge during development is to reconcile the requirements of a classic dashboard with the functionality you are used to from CoPlanner. Clear, quickly comprehensible presentation must be combined with extensive configuration and customizing options and familiar CoPlanner components. In particular, an appealing visual appearance and an intuitive operating concept are also of high priority
For the Reporting Dashboard a new type of CoPlanner diagrams is being developed, which puts special emphasis on interactivity - tooltips, zoom, dynamic fade in and fade out of measures and more. Various chart types are supported, from simple bar charts to more exotic ones such as maps.
As you are used to from the modern CoPlanner web applications, nothing has to be installed on the clients for dashboarding. The application is fully integrated and is delivered with the CoPlanner server. A view on mobile devices is also possible.
