The Institute for Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS) welcomes Markus Begerow as visiting scientist
11. April 2022, Hannover, Graz - With Mr. Markus Begerow, the Institute for Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS) from Heilbronn University welcomes a new innovative guest scientist.
The director of the institute, Prof. Dr. Alexander Jesser, has a very special and long-standing relationship with him. Markus Begerow is a driving force behind many different research topics in the fields of data science and analytics, he has already been a guest speaker at the university's internal Blockchain Symposium 2021, and together they founded the non-university research group Dainalytix (www.dainalytix.de) thus putting together a powerful international research team.
We are very pleased at CoPlanner that our team colleague Markus Begerow has joined the ICPS as a guest scientist and thought leader and is also driving the thematic world on our behalf.
Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS) are networked information and software systems (cyber world) that are connected to mechanical components (real world). Mostly, these are embedded systems that perform tight communication/control tasks and data processing with mechanical components such as sensors and actuators, in a network. Intelligent CPS are implemented with smart processes and algorithms (e.g., from the field of artificial intelligence or machine learning) to perform complex operations, controls, and evaluations in an optimized manner.
Intelligent cyber-physical systems thus represent the central technology in the field of Industrie 4.0 (Industrial Internet) and are fundamental to IoT (Internet of Things) . Thus, Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems represent the essential core component of Emerging Technologies.
The Institute for Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS) was founded in 2021 to meet the increasing collaborations with researching institutions and the involved industry in the topics of intelligent systems in various industries.
