Maresi Austria Ltd. is a subsidiary of Vivatis Holding AG, the leading holding company of established brand name producers as well as specialized production and service companies. Since its beginnings in 1949, Maresi has become one of the most successful brand name companies. With the introduction of a business intelligence solution, the internal Microsoft Excel based planning and reporting processes will be standardized and the management will be supported in controlling the company
ACHIEVEMENTS
With the Business Intelligence solution at Maresi, a top-down or button-up brand DB I planning was established on the item and customer level in the company. In addition, care was taken to harmonize the three different planning processes (budget, expectation and KAM expectation). Kore and Fibu points of view were linked in the planning and made available at the touch of a button. Marketing and overhead costs are planned per cost center and per month. In the first implementation stage, a DB invoice, a standardized target / actual and an analysis solution were implemented. The actual data from the different SAP modules are automatically loaded into the CoPlanner every day. Current daily lists are automatically sent to those responsible by e-mail in order to respond quickly to the constantly changing conditions on the market.
HIGHLIGHT
Based on the CoPlanner DB I and quantity planning masks, Top Down can be used across all products and customers to quickly create scenarios such as: Sales activities, promotional formats and recalculations for product launches Key figures are planned in percent or per liter depending on the reference quantity. DB I is calculated on the fly Due to the automated pre-filling of the planning on the basis of global premises, the decentralized planners are already provided with guideline values and can be adapted on a case-by-case basis.
